At Young Foundational Health Center we do not do the traditional Type 1 allergy testing which most people are familiar with. Type 1 allergy testing consists of a series of pin pricks to the skin and monitoring for a resulting allergic reaction. Typically, a reaction from Type 1 testing results in a reaction in under an hour’s time as in the case of hives or breathing trouble following the eating of peanuts by someone allergic to peanuts.
Allergies can result in an underlying, and constant inflammation in the body when undiagnosed, causing a host of other medical ailments.
Type 2, 3 & 4 Allergy Testing
At Young Foundational Health Center we focus on Type 2, 3 and 4 allergic reactions which are delayed reactions that will not show up as immediately as Type 1 allergies making them much more difficult to diagnose. Although these allergic reactions can be found in medical textbooks and are, in fact, very common, mainstream medicine tends to ignore these types of allergic reactions because there is no pharmaceutical fix. The truth is that these types of allergies can result in an underlying, and constant inflammation in the body when undiagnosed, causing a host of other medical ailments.
Young Foundational Health Center, we can administer Type 2, 3, & 4 allergy testing and consult with you regarding your results, allowing you to identify underlying food, chemical and environmental allergies that may be lurking in your body and causing you discomfort without you knowing.
